Finally...
I am so happy today... Finally, I can conclude on my mini project. Well, the aim of the project is really simple. All I need to do is to test whether Raman spectroscopy can tell 2 different types of paper apart. And the conclusion is No, it cant. Well well well... this may sound really stupid right? I spent 3 weeks on it and have to accept the fact that the results are indeterminate. Haa.. But my prof told me that I have made an important discovery!!! " When u found out there are differences between the 2 papers, its an important discovery in science. But it is also an equally important discovery to find out that there are no differences. And saying I dont know is not an option because it is when u started out from." This is so true... I always have the impression that I need positive results and they are what I am seeking for. Sometimes, this really blurred ur vision on things. Through this mini project, I have learnt that negative results do not mean bad results and they are definitely better than no results. hehe....
My slacking days are over..... Time to slog!!!. More projects, more work and more results... Yeah!!!

48 hours of Madness!
My weekends are always full of madness and its getting crazier each week. Went out on Friday morning and only back on Sat night. Well well... I know Friday was a working day but who cares... Bet my prof didnt even know I wasnt there... So the 2 days were packed with activities.... Shopping at Yelltown and Ikea, KTV session, Mahjong cum drinking session, Tim Sum, Strolling at the beach, cooking & movie session at my place.
I think we have travelled milesssss in that 2 days. And I'm starting to like the idea of reeling down the car windows and blasting music. I know we are public nuisance but nobody actually give a damm abt it. But if we ever do this in Singapore, we would probably be cursed and sweared at...
Anyway, the highlight for the 2 days would be the cooking session at my place. Jonathan who doesnt seem to look like someone who can cook, can in actual fact cook very well... So never judge a book by its cover ya....
The Gang of Four!!!
Our Master Chef!!!
Guess what... Coke was used in almost all dishes.. Surprise Surprise!!!!

Bored bored bored....
Didnt go work today since there is nothing to do there anyway. So I was all alone at home blasting my music but I still felt so quiet, so lonely... A paradox I have never experienced before...
It is so ironical... I used to enjoy my personal space alot but grumbled that I didnt have enough. Now, I can have all the private moments that I want. YET, I still grumble about it. I am never satisfied...
I started a blog thinking that I can share my thoughts with my friends... But the truth is, I cant... At least not all of them. There are things that I do not have the courage to share and things that I have to censor away. In the end, my blog ended up to be just another cut and paste master piece... So I am back to square one....

Which button would u press?
I was isolated in the cramp and dirty lab of mine for the whole day. Its a challenge to work in there. The fact that I have to squeeze through teeny-weeny spaces to reach for what I needed is a challenge itself. And trying to occupy myself with something to do while waiting for my prof is also another challenge.
Having starred at the computer for at least 5 hours, I have a thought...
Press "Delete" to erase those memories that you wish to forget
Press "F1" when you need help desperately
Press "Esc" when you want to avoid a dire situation
Press "Restart" when you screwed your life up
And Press "Shut down" when you have had enough.....
Which button would you press now???
